Do you have a meeting that keeps getting pushed back? How many days have passed since it was originally supposed to happen?
With the new Activity Create Date stamp in Act! v18.1 it’s easy to find out. Commentary has been added to the Schedule Activity window to calculate the number of days that have elapsed since an Activity’s original Start Date.
Are you interested in upgrading to Act! 18 to utilize this and other great new features?
Do you have your ACT! database set to 'roll-over to today' certain uncleared activity types? Are you overwhelmed by the number of roll-over activities that appear when you open ACT! each morning? A good friend and colleague of ours has developed a free ACT! add-on program that can help lighten your day just a bit.
The Multiple Activities Reschedule is a must-have ACT! add-on program for busy people who just don't have enough hours in the day to get through their task list. If you consistently roll over your activities, and are buried under the growing number of items on today's calendar, you'll want to download this add-on! We did. With this tool, you can highlight multiple activities in your ACT! task list, then right click, select 'Reschedule Multiple Activities' as shown in the picture, and reschedule them en masse to another day - not just roll to today, but move to next week, next month, or whenever is convenient. BEST OF ALL, it's free! Try it today - the only thing you have to lose is your seemingly endless daily task list!
* Compatible with ACT! 2010 and ACT! 2011 locally installed databases only. Not available for ACT! for Web users.

In today's hurried times, we are all looking for ways to do our jobs faster and more efficiently. When you need to schedule an activity on your ACT! calendar, are you aware that you can schedule those activities faster by setting custom default preferences? Following the instructions below, you can tailor each activity type's default settings to your liking, eliminating the need to continuously change the activity duration, alarm status, etc. during scheduling.
To customize your scheduling preferences, access the Tools menu in the top navigation bar and scroll down to 'Preferences'. Once the Preferences portal is open, select the 'Calendar and Scheduling' tab and click the 'Scheduling Preferences' button.
Highlight each activity type and define the default settings for that activity as desired. Further, you can customize the display drop-downs and the alarms for your activities.
Other scheduling options include the ability to create separate activities when scheduling with multiple contacts and to have a prompt launched to schedule an activity when a new contact is created.
